The South Texas Doctoral Bridge program supports graduate students while working on their M.S. with the intention of eventually pursuing a Ph.D. in a biomedical field. This program is a partnership between the UT Health Science Center of San Antonio and Texas State University.

The National Institutes of Health NIGMS R25 GM102783 provides funding for South Texas Doctoral Bridge through the Bridges to the Doctorate program.

Bridges to Biomedicine (No Longer Accepting Applications)         Bridges students work in research labs to gain valuable career experience.

The Bridges to Biomedicine program supports community college students interested in pursuing a career in biomedical research. This program is a partnership between Texas State University, San Antonio College, and Northwest Vista College, and is sponsored by the National Institutes of Health.
